London, Jan 24 (ANI): The British woman, who had been banned from buying or drinking alcohol anywhere in England and Wales, has broken her ASBO after filming a documentary for BBC on how rehab changed her.
Laura Hall, 21, was fined 75 pounds last week after admitting being drunk and disorderly and breaching a two-year court order barring her from licensed premises.
And she has embarrassed BBC bosses just days before they air a fly-on-the-wall documentary, 'My Battle With Booze', showing how she had stopped her alcohol habit.
In the show she is seen undergoing a tough rehab regime before she was allowed to go home after five months of treatment.
"Rehab has turned my life around," the Daily Mail quoted her as saying in an interview publicising the programme.
"I cringe at photos of me drinking now. I tormented my family and would have died if I's carried on. I want my story to help other girls quit booze," she said.
According to the Sunday Mirror, Hall from Droitwich, Worcestershire, was arrested near her home recently, and she had to spend the night in police cells before appearing in court. (ANI)
