The Koreans again scored twice in a gap of one minute in the 24th and 25th minute taking the scorecard to 3-1 at the end of the first session.

The Indian team maintained a steady attack in the second half but was unable to stop the opponent to score its fourth goal in the 42nd minute which they converted through the penalty corner.

The Indian women did not give up and in the 69th minute they scored their second goal through Poonam's field goal and lost the match 2-4.

India will now face Scotland in their next Pool A group match here Monday.
