Washington, Mar. 6 (ANI): The U.S. military is boosting its NATO presence in Ukraine.
The move from the US comes in a bid to support the defenses of its allies in Europe in response to Russia's takeover of Ukraine's Crimean Peninsula.
According to Fox News, a Defense official confirmed that the United States would send six additional F-15s and one KC-135 to 'augment the mission' in Baltic countries.
The official said that the move from the US comes at the request of its Baltic Allies and further demonstrates its commitment to NATO security.
Speaking during a press conference in Paris, Secretary of State John Kerry described these decisions as 'concrete steps to reassure the US' NATO allies,' the report added. (ANI)
