Beijing, March 1 (ANI): In response to a recent human rights report published by the US, China has reportedly published a report of its own on human rights problems in the US.
The Information Office of the State Council, China's cabinet released "The Human Rights Record of the United States in 2013" soon after the US released "Country Reports on Human Rights Practices for 2013" criticizing the policies of China.
According to China Daily, China's report stated that there were serious human rights problems in the US in 2013, with the situation deteriorating in many fields.
The report further stated that the US government once again posed as "the world judge of human rights", making "arbitrary attacks and irresponsible remarks" on almost 200 countries and regions.
The report also criticized US for spying on citizens, both at home and abroad, to a "massive and unrestrained" degree using its PRISM surveillance program, calling it a blatant violation of international law that seriously infringed human rights. (ANI)
