Tehran, Jan 27 (IANS) Iran and the six world powers will resume nuclear negotiations in New York in February to finalise a comprehensive agreement on the dispute, an official said Monday.
The new series of nuclear negotiations will be held in the presence of Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton and representatives of P5+1 group -- the US, Russia, China, France, Britain plus Germany -- in New York, an Iranian foreign ministry official told IRNA news agency.
He said the negotiations would focus on drafting the comprehensive agreement which would envisage cooperation of the Western countries with Iran over the nuclear programme.
The Western countries will guarantee to end propaganda campaign against Iran's nuclear programme and lift the economic sanctions they imposed on Iran.
The Iranian government reserves the right to take legal action with the International Court of Justice in the Hague against the US administration which orchestrated the international sanctions on Iran in the past three years, the ministry said.
