Imran Khan plans to block NATO supplies 'forever' after US drone attack on seminary

Islamabad, Fri, 22 Nov 2013 ANI

Islamabad, Nov. 22 (ANI): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan is planning to block NATO supplies "forever" after the U.S. drone attacked Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's religious seminary on Thursday killing six and injuring five others.

Imran condemned the attack and said that his party would stage a huge protest demonstration in Peshawar on Saturday to block NATO supplies to Afghanistan forever, the Daily Times reports.

He also appealed to the nation to participate in the protest, if they want to get rid of the US attacks.

Imran urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to take a firm stand against U.S. attacks, saying that after this attack, it is possible that America could undertake such attacks in any part of the country, including the federal capital.

The PTI chairman also expressed concern that lives of people are at risk as the U.S. has now expanded its missile attacks to the settled areas, like Hangu, besides the tribal regions of the nation. (ANI)
