London, Sept. 27 (ANI): The China Manned Space Agency has revealed its first orbiting space station is expected to be launched by 2023.
The space station, which will cover an area of 60 square meter, consists of three capsules, including a core module attached to two laboratories and a cargo vessel to transport supplies, the BBC reports.
It will be able to support six crew members on short-term missions and three for long-term stays in low-Earth orbit, the report added.
However, China must first test technologies in renewable life-support and in-orbit refueling to fully support the space station. (ANI)
