London, Sept. 23 (ANI): A technique mentioned in a book, authored by British explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes, who was also a member of SAS, was used to kill Princess Diana, it has been claimed.
In the book, titled 'The Feather Men', Fiennes describes the "Boston Brakes" technique, which was apparently developed by the CIA, that involved planting remote control devices in the victim's car so the assassins can cause it to crash, the Daily Express reported.
After the accident the controls are removed by stealth, leaving no trace.
The 69-year-old writer revealed that 5 years ago he got a call from a friend, who had read his book and had also closely examined the snaps taken shortly after the Paris crash.
Fiennes asserted that his pal told him that the Boston Brakes system had been used in the Paris underpass, where Diana, her beau Dodi Fayed and chauffer Henri Paul were killed.
He added that his friend believes that Diana's car was tampered with after the accident. (ANI)
