Panama City, Sep 6 (IANS) The coach of Panama's national football team, Julio Cesar Dely, has admitted that the Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifier against Jamaica Friday in the Panamanian capital here, could be more complicated than expected.
In a press conference held in Panama City Thursday, Dely said the match against the Caribbean outfit would be a complicated one, reports Xinhua.
Panama is in fifth position in the Concacaf (Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football) Qualifying Tournament, with six points and above Jamaica.
The Panamanian team will have to win to get one of the three Concacaf tickets. The fourth best team will go to playoffs against New Zealand.
Dely stressed that what is most important is the result, regardless of the competition strategies and who will play in Rommel Fernandez stadium in Panama City.
Panamanian defender Gabriel Gomez admitted that the team will have to be cautious because it will face a more difficult Jamaican team than the one in Kingston, where they drew 1-1.
