Japan Airlines Boeing 777 returns to Fukuoka due to engine trouble

Beijing, Sept. 5 (ANI): A Japan Airlines flight made an emergency landing on Thursday morning at Fukuoka Airport in the southwestern Japanese city of Fukuoka after the pilots reported engine trouble.

According to Xinhua, the emergency landing at Fukuoka Airport took place at around 9: 20 a.m. local time after the flight crew reported that one of its engines on the Boeing 777 aircraft to Tokyo-Haneda Airport had a problem after take-off at the airport.

The report said that the airplane, carrying 252 passengers and crew members, had departed around 8:30 a.m. and returned to the airport, adding that none of the people aboard was injured. The airline company and airport officials are investigating the cause of the engine problem. (ANI)
