Melbourne, Aug. 31 (ANI): South African President Jacob Zuma's office has reportedly denied earlier speculations about anti-Apartheid leader Nelson Mandela being released from the hospital and insisted that the leader is still in the hospital in a critical but stable condition.
Zuma's office in a statement said that Madiba is still in hospital in Pretoria adding that at times his condition becomes unstable, but he responds to medical interventions.
According to The Courier Mail, the update on the 95-year-old Mandela's condition is unchanged from last week, when Zuma had said that Mandela showed 'great resilience'.
Mandela was admitted to a Pretoria hospital on June 8 for a recurring lung infection and Zuma had urged South Africans to pray for Mandela and to keep him in their thoughts at all times, the report added. (ANI)
