Vatican PR woman's 'controversial' Twitter posts cause uproar

Melbourne, August 19 (ANI): Vatican PR woman Francesca Chaouqui has landed in hot water with Rome again after posting 'controversial' tweets.

While her youth and beauty had raised a few eyebrows among conservatives, a series of tweets that she posted before landing she landed the job has become the real issue.

In one of the posts, she labelled Vatican's secretary of state, Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, as 'corrupt.'

The Vatican has now launched an inquiry into the hiring of Chaouqui - appointed as PR officer for a new 8-member committee that was set up in July by Pope Francis to overhaul Vatican's financial administration.

Earlier, the 30-year-old PR consultant was in the controversy because of her 'semi nude' image with her partner chewing on her shoulder appeared on YouTube. (ANI)
