Islamabad, July 22 (ANI): A resolution of no-confidence motion has been moved against the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed.
The Express Tribune reports that two members of the legislative assembly from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) are behind the move.
According to the report, seven ministers and three advisers have resigned from their posts after the no-confidence motion.
These ministers will reportedly vote in favour of the no-confidence motion.
Majeed, nominated by President Asif Ali Zardari for the premiership, was elected as the 11th POK prime minister on July 26, 2011 from a constituency in the Mirpur district, the report added.
It is speculated that if the resolution gets passed, it is likely that PPP leader Barrister Sultan Mahmoud will be elected as the new prime minister. (ANI)
