Islamabad, Apr. 28 (ANI): The questioning of former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf during investigations by the four-member Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) team in the Benazir Bhutto murder case may lead to some other important personalities on the basis of his replies.
The FIA team led by Additional Director General Khalid Qureshi on the first day of Musharraf's remand interrogated the former president at his farmhouse, which has been declared as sub-jail, for around two hours. An anti-terrorism court (ATC) had granted 4-day physical remand of Musharraf to FIA in Bhutto's assassination case, reports The Nation.
According to sources, the FIA team, which prepared around hundred questions, posed around one third questions on the first day of interrogation. The questions related to alleged agreement between Bhutto and him, improper security to Bhutto, telephonic threats to Bhutto before her assassination, including others, were asked.
The sources said the FIA team on the basis of replies of the former military dictator might involve some important personalities in coming days. They said the FIA team asked the names of 'guarantors' which were involved in agreement between Musharraf and Bhutto. (ANI)
