Casablanca, April 14 (IANS) Spanish tennis player Tommy Robredo and Kevin Anderson of South Africa will clash in the Grand Prix Hassan II final.
Robredo beat top-seeded Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland 1-6, 6-3, 6-2 Saturday to reach his first final since winning on outdoor clay in Santiago, Chile, two years ago.
Anderson followed up with a 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 win against third-seeded Martin Klizan of Slovakia and will aim for his third career title Sunday, reports Xinhua.
The Grand Prix Hassan II, inaugurated in 1986, is entirely funded by Morocco's King Mohammed VI. Casablanca is the only ATP World Tour stop on the African continent. Two Moroccans have won the title in their home country: Hicham Arazi in 1997 and Younes El Aynaoui in 2002.
