London, April 9 (IANS) The funeral of former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher will be held in London April 17, the office of Prime Minister David Cameron said Tuesday.
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will attend the funeral ceremony at St Paul's Cathedral, reported Xinhua citing the Buckingham Palace.
Thatcher died at the age of 87 after suffering a stroke, her family spokesman announced Monday.
