Islamabad, Apr. 2 (ANI): Pakistan People's Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto has returned to the country to start the party's election campaign on April 4.
The Daily Times quoted sources in the PPP, as saying that despite severe security threat and reservations on the way party's affairs are being run, Bilawal decided to return to Pakistan to start the party's election campaign. However, it was still not clear whether he would lead the party campaign till the elections in prevailing circumstances or not, the sources added.
It must be noted that there are different points of view among PPP leaders regarding the departure of their party's chairman from Pakistan before the start of election campaign, but they all agreed that he would return before April 4.
It was earlier reported in the media that Bilawal had left Pakistan for Dubai as he was unhappy regarding the running of party's affairs, as he believed that the party's ideology was being compromised by promoting different individuals whose loyalty is divided. But others rejected the reports saying Bilawal had left the country due to security concerns. (ANI)
