Egyptian cleric vows to raise Islamic flag above White House

Washington, Mar. 31 (ANI): A leading cleric in Egypt has said in a video, that it is only a matter of time before "the flag of Islam flies above the White House".

The video of a Friday sermon before hundreds in Egypt, quoted the cleric as saying that he Islamic law will be implemented, and not only in Egypt but in the entire world, reports Washington Times.

The unnamed cleric said it is the "word of Allah and his messenger". The cleric said followers of Islam should keep working toward the goal of spreading Islam across the world and to raise the flag of Islam above the White House. (ANI)
