Rio de Janeiro, March 24 (IANS) Former AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato is set to be recalled by national football coach Luiz Felipe Scolari for Brazil's friendly against Bolivia next month.
The 23-year-old has not represented his country since playing in Brazil's 3-0 victory over Sweden in August last year.
But he has shown glimpses of his best form with four goals for Corinthians since his 15 million-euro move from AC Milan in January, Xinhua reported.
Earlier this month, the centre-forward strung together 11 consecutive matches for the first time since 2009.
Scolari will announce his squad for the April 6 match in Santa Cruz de la Sierra Thursday. Only Brazil-based players will be considered as the fixture is on a non-FIFA date.
