Washington, Mar 16 (ANI): A London-based airport has been criticised for posting a photograph of a plane crash, in which a child had died, on its Facebook page, following which the airport deleted the post and apologised for its 'misconduct'.
The Luton Airport, known for its light-heated Facebook posts, had depicted a photo of a plane crash at Chicago's Midway Airport in 2005, in which a child had died, on its Facebook page, the Huffington Post reports.
The report added that along with the photo, a caption had been posted which read 'Because we are such a super airport...this is what we prevent you from when it snows...Weeeee :)'.
Apologising over the post, a spokesperson for the airport said that the post was an honest but misguided mistake by a new and over-enthusiastic member of their support team, who had however stepped over the line.
The spokesperson added that the post has been deleted and will not happen again in the future. (ANI)
