Botswana,Sports, Sat, 09 Mar 2013 IANS

Gaborone (Botswana), March 9 (IANS) Botswana's national team head coach Stanley Tshosane announced his 22-man squad for a 2014 World Cup football qualifying clash against Ethiopia later this month.

The Zebras will travel to Ethiopia's capital city of Addis Ababa for next year's World Cup qualifier, reports Xinhua.

The game is expected to be played at the Addis Ababa National Stadium March 24 in a match in which the visitors would want to put their campaign back on track.

Botswana started their 2014 World Cup campaign on the wrong foot losing 0-2 to Central African Republic (CAR) in their campaign opener.

After losing to CAR, Botswana went on to draw 1-1 with South Africa at home in a game most football followers are of the belief that the hosts should have easily won if they had utilized the chances they created.

Now the diamond rich nation of Botswana is faced with a mountain to climb in trying to put their campaign to Brazil 2014 in shape. CAR is currently leading the table with four points out of two outings.

In a statement, Botswana Football Association (BFA) said the announced squad is expected to report for camp Sunday.
