New York, Feb 18 (ANI): American comedian Will Ferrell is all set to endorse LA's mayoral contestant, Democrat Eric Garcetti.
The 45-year-old, who is following the footsteps of Jimmy Kimmel and Salma Hayek, asserted that he has agreed to endorse the race because he wants a vibrant and healthy city for his three sons and his four illegitimate children to grow up in, the New York Post reported.
Meanwhile, Garcetti's most difficult opponent, City Controller Wendy Greuel, is supported by Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen, as well as Tom Hanks, Zooey Deschanel, Eva Longoria and Chelsea Handler.
The only Republican among eight candidates vying to succeed Antonio Villaraigosa, Kevin James, has the support of Adam Corolla, screenwriter Dustin Lance Black and Marc Cherry. (ANI)
