Milan, Jan 23 (IANS) Stefano Mauri scored a late away-goal to hand Lazio the advantage as they held Juventus to a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final.
Federico Peluso put the hosts 1-0 ahead with a header in the 63rd minute and they looked set to take that slender lead into the second leg as the clock ticked down, reports Xinhua.
But Mauri equalised in the 86th minute, turning the ball home at the far post from a corner, to hand Lazio the initiative heading into the return leg at Rome's Stadio Olimpico home next Tuesday.
In the other semifinal, Roma will host Inter Milan in the first leg Wednesday night.
