Islamabad, Jan. 16 (ANI): Bollywood controversy queen Veena Malik, while responding to a fan's tweet, asking her to become Pakistan's prime minister, has said she wouldn't prefer to take up the post as they get arrest warrants in the country.
Micro-blogging website Twitter exploded on Tuesday evening in the wake of the Supreme Court's decision to issue an arrest warrant for Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, reports The Express Tribune.
Veena said she follows Pakistani politics, adding that the arrest warrant for the prime minister came as a shock to her. She said it is "shameful and shocking" if the prime minister is involved in corruption.
Veena said she finds the current state of Pakistani politics amusing. She mentioned Minhajul Quran International (MQI) chief, Dr Tahirul Qadri, saying his slogans seem funny to her.
Veena said Pakistani politics is entertaining and it makes up for the lack of it in the country's entertainment industry. (ANI)
