Los Angeles, Jan 14 (IANS) Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx returns to the studio to begin work on his new album and has recruited Kanye West to produce it.
The soundtrack is a follow-up to his 2010 album "Best Night of My Life".
The actor and musician, who recently starred in Quentin Tarantino's Oscar-nominated film "Django Unchained", is lining up big names for the project.
"We are going to work on some music with Kanye, Will.i.am and a few other people," bangshowbiz.com quoted Foxx as saying.
When quizzed on whether he may team up with Beyonce, he said: "I don't know about Beyonce, but she's great though."
The 45-year-old Oscar-winning actor has released four albums in the past, with 2005's "Unpredictable" reaching number one on the US charts.
Earlier Foxx had collaborated with the likes of Justin Timberlake, T.I. and Ne-Yo.
