RR vs RCB: de Villiers, Dilshan and Appanna steal the victory

In the 30th match of IPL played yesterday in Sawai Mansingh stadium of Jaipur, Roual Challengers Bangalore sealed a 49 run win over Rajasthan Royals.

Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to field first. Chris Gayle fell sich in the eleventh hour and therefore batted late. RCB were 67 for 3 in 11th over when Dilshan and de Villiers change the tempo of the game. They made a stand of 122 runs in 8.3 overs. While Dilshan stood their guiding the innings, de Villiers extracted runs. He hit 5 sixes in his innings of 53 in just 23 balls, Dilshan made 76 in 58 balls.

During the chase Dravid was the only player to stand as the wickets on the other end kept falling. He made 58 in 42 balls before falling to Appanna. Appanna took 4 key RR wickets in his 4 over spell and gave away just 19 runs.

With 4 win in 7 matches RCB has also gained 8 points and is equal to other 5 teams in points table and is in 6th position, while Rajasthan Royals are at 4th position with 4 wins in their 8 matches.
