Islamabad, Nov 18 (IANS) At least two security personnel were killed and seven others injured in a bomb explosion targeting a security convoy in North Waziristan region of Pakistan.
The Tehrik?e?Taliban's Jundullah group claimed responsibility for the blast, saying it was to avenge the death of their slain comrade Ahmed Bengali who was earlier killed in a drone strike in North Waziristan, the Dawn reported citing sources.
The security forces' convoy was on routine patrol when it came under attack of a remote?controlled bomb planted near the road in Mir Ali area. Two security personnel died on the spot in the high intensity blast.
