New Delhi, Nov.5 (ANI): German Foreign Minister Dr. Guido Westerwelle and Indian Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid met on Monday on the sidelines of the ASEM Summit in Vientiane,Laos.
According to diplomatic sources, the talks between the two foreign ministers were described as "good".
Both ministers discussed progress made in bilateral ties and agreed that Indo-German relations are excellent and shall be further strengthened.
According to the sources, there was great interest on the Indian side in Germany's assistance in fostering the vocational training system.
Foreign Minister Westerwelle was clearly in favor of a EU Free Trade Agreement with India, and added that it would be important to make concrete progress now. (ANI)
