Lahore, Oct. 23 (ANI): Pakistan set a new world records after over 24,000 citizens got together and formed the world's largest "human national flag" in Lahore, breaking a five-year-old record set by 21,726 people in Hong Kong, officials have said.
"It's amazing, amazing display of unity of 24,200 people here in Lahore tonight," The Dawn quoted Guinness World Records judge Gareth Deaves, as saying.
Meanwhile, a total of 1,936 Pakistani students broke another record, by forming the largest "human picture mosaic" of the Lahore Fort at the hockey stadium.
The previous record was held by Ansley McEvoy and her friends and family in South Carolina, USA.
Pakistanis have broken several records in the past two days including one for most number of people singing the national anthem simultaneously.
Earlier on Saturday, over 42,813 people sang the national anthem together, breaking the previous best of 15,243 held by India. (ANI)
