Fasih Mohammed, an alleged member of Indian Mujahideen, and accused in the Chinnaswamy Stadium blast in Bangalore and the shooting near Jama Masjid (Delhi) in 2010 has been arrested on his arrival from Saudi Arabia on Monday, media reports say.
According to reports, Saudi Arabia deported Fasih after they had enough evidence on his involvement in terror acts in India as last month Saudi had asked more evidence from India regarding Fasih involvement in terror activities especially in the conspiracy behind the bomb blasts in Bangalore and Delhi.
India had sought deportation of Fasih from the Gulf country and also secured an Interpol Red Corner notice.
Earlier, Fasih's wife Nikhat Parveen had approached the Supreme Court claiming that her husband was in the custody of central security agencies and was picked up by a joint team of Indian and Saudi officials on May 13.
Fasih Mohammed, by profession an engineer earlier is second terror suspect to be deported from Saudi after 26/11 Mumbai terror attack suspect Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal.
