Lahore, Oct. 5 (ANI): A former Pakistani lawmaker has bought the house of former United Kingdom prime minister Tony Blair's family located in Central London for around 1.3 million pounds.

British-Pakistani citizen, Ashraf Chohan, is a doctor by profession and runs his own clinic. The Blair family has four properties in the central London area and Dr Chohan has succeeded to get one just next to his clinic, reports the Daily Times.

Dr Chohan said it was "joyful job" for him to buy a property from a celebrity in the UK.

Dr Chohan was an elected member of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) in the Punjab Assembly. He had resigned over dual nationality issue as the Supreme Court had given a verdict against the parliamentarians who possess dual nationalities. (ANI)
