Washington, Oct. 3 (ANI): The United States State Department, while commenting on recent meetings with leaders of Pakistan, said both countries are trying to get their relationship 'back on track'.
"We are making progress to get our relationship with Pakistan back on track, and I think that was evident when Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar was here and after the meeting with President Zardari as well," The Dawn quoted State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland, as saying.
Nuland also said Washington is also encouraging Pakistan and Afghanistan to work together to resolve their border disputes.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had met President Asif Ali Zardari in New York last week on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. She also had an important meeting with Khar in Washington before going to New York. (ANI)
