Washington, Sep 20 (ANI): Kim Jong Il's former personal sushi chef, Kenji Fujimoto, who unexpectedly visited North Korea after fleeing to Japan in 2001, was reportedly given so much to drink by North Korean leaders, who had organised a party for him, that he can't remember much of the event.
Fujimoto said he was so drunk that he doesn't really remember what happened at the end of the party at night.
"When I regained consciousness, I was on a bed. I asked if I did anything disrespectful. No one said I did, so I felt relieved," the New York Daily News quoted Fujimoto, as saying.
Fujimoto, who returned to the Communist country after almost a decade, look into how the closed-off dictatorship has changed since Kim Jong Il's son, Kim Jong Un, took over as leader after his father's death in 2011.
"I went window shopping from the third day. There are plenty of goods in shops. That's already a big difference. There was nothing there 10 years ago ... I guess it changed drastically since the Kim Jong Un era started," he said. (ANI)
