San Juan, Sep 5 (IANS/EFE) Three people died and two were injured in a fire Tuesday at a nursing home in Bayamon, a city outside San Juan, Puerto Rican police said.
Francisco Padilla, 85, Carmen Rodriguez, 91, and Madeline Montalvo, 32, died in the fire at the La Providencia nursing home.
Montalvo was living at the nursing home because she had mental problems.
Angel Marrero Garcia, the 45-year-old nurse-owner of the facility, and Cristal Ortiz Marrero, 18, were injured in the blaze.
The two men were taken to San Pablo Hospital in Bayamon.
