Moscow, Aug 19 (IANS/RIA Novosti) A former US Navy Seal has come up with a game which enables people to re-enact the raid in which US commandos killed slain former Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden in Pakistan's Abbottabad city.
The last May raid in Pakistan provided a business idea for the former Navy Seal who is now charging $325 per person to re-enact the US covert military operation, The Daily News America reported Sunday.
Larry Yatch of New Hope city in Minnestoa state, is offering visitors at the Sealed Mindset Firearms Studio to clutch paintball guns and pretend to be highly trained Navy Seals sneaking into a compound in Pakistan to kill a bearded man in a white robe.
The retired Seal told Minnesota Public Radio that the game wasn't simply for entertainment but also to teach people self-defence.
The fake Al Qaeda compound has been set up in the basement of the Sealed Mindset studio which also hosts self-defense classes and firearms training.
Over the past four months, 137 people have signed up to pretend to kill the top Al Qaeda man.
"It's the people that maybe might be a little intimidated around a gun or don't necessarily feel comfortable having to fight with someone, those are the people who we can make the biggest difference in their lives," he told the radio station.
