Islamabad, Aug 18 (ANI): Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain called on prominent personalities in Pakistan to consider a conspiracy behind the repeated terrorist attacks on defence installations in the nation and the recent migration of Hindus to India.
According to the Dawn, Hussain, while speaking to prominent columnist Hassan Nisar on the phone, said that terrorists had earlier carried out brazen attacks on Mehran Base in Karachi, GHQ in Rawalpindi, ordnance factory in Wah Cantt, and other important installations also.
He claimed that the Hindu community members were applying for asylum in India because of failing law and order in Sindh and asked the political leadership to consider the threats encircling the country, the paper said.
Agreeing to the concerns of the MQM chief, Nisar lamented that people, who are intimately connected with events unfolding in the country, are doing nothing to improve the situation, and insisted that they should come forward in strengthening Pakistan as a nation. (ANI)
