New York, August 14 (ANI): Sarah Palin may have decided against attending GOP convention this month, but a willing surrogate is ready to step into her spike-heeled shoes.
Lisa Ann, star of the political porn flick 'Who's Nailin' Paylin?' will be bringing her Palin look-alike pole act to The Dollhouse strip club in Tampa especially for the GOP convention.
"I feel like I'm her rep at this point," the New York Daily News quoted Ann as telling GQ magazine.
"Like, 'Hey, don't worry, I'm your double. Just stay at home and relax with your family. I'll take care of this convention thing'," she said.
The 40-year-old porn star said the most unusual thing about this act is that men want her to get back into her clothes once it's over.
"I'll put my suit back on after the show because a lot of the guys want pictures with me in the suit so they can put it on their Facebook or whatever they choose," Ann said.
"Because I'm dressed for once! It's really funny that they want the picture of me dressed because, of course, that's never happened to me before, except when you're on the street," she said.
The former Governor of Alaska had confirmed on Sunday that she wouldn't be speaking at the Republican convention, ending weeks of speculation.
"Everything I said at the 2008 convention about then-candidate Obama still stands today," Fox News had quoted her as saying.
"This year is a good opportunity for other voices to speak at the convention and I'm excited to hear them," she had said.
Ann, meanwhile, said that she was looking forward to the big business that she had heard political conventions bring to local strip clubs.
"I know this from girls who travel," she said.
"They've told me about the conventions - supposedly it gets really crowded. There are a lot of people with a lot of money there. I definitely think there's going to be a lot of people down there this year because even Republicans have come in to see me and said, 'you know, we think this is hilarious.' It's just light humor, after all," she added. (ANI)
