Brazil,Sports, Mon, 06 Aug 2012 IANS

Rio de Janeiro, Aug 6 (IANS) Brazil coach Mano Menezes has said his team is not feeling the pressure of aiming for the country's first Olympic football gold medal.

Brazil will meet South Korea in the semi-finals at Old Trafford Tuesday for the right to vie for gold against the winner of the Mexico-Japan duel, reports Xinhua.

"This team has nothing to do with Brazil's previous Olympic football squads," Menezes said.

"I don't feel under pressure because of what has or hasn't happened in the past, and I won't let my players feel it either."

The Olympics represent the only major football prize Brazil is yet to win.

Menezes' team won each of its group matches against Egypt, Belarus and New Zealand before advancing to the semi-finals with a 3-2 victory over Honduras Saturday.
