London, Aug 3 (IANS) Indian shooter Vijay Kumar qualified for the final round of the 25-metre rapid fire pistol event at the 2012 London Olympics here Friday.
The 26-year-old clocked 585, finishing fourth, with stage scores of 293 and 292 at an average of 9.750 at the Royal Artillery Barracks.
Russia's Alexei Klimov created a new world record with a total score of 592. Only six shooters will take part in the final.
