Lahore, Aug 3 (ANI): Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan chief, Syed Munawar Hasan, has termed India's move to allow foreign investment from Pakistan as a trap and a plan to destabilize the country in every respect.
Hasan appealed to patriotic people and businessmen not to fall into India's trap. He said India was continuously trying to weaken Pakistan, and added that it had built 62 dams over Pakistani rivers, denying the country its share of water.
The News quoted him, as saying that India wants to convert Pakistan into a desert and destroy its industry, agriculture and economy.
Echoing Hasan's thoughts, JI Secretary General, Liaqat Baloch also said that India's move to allow investment was a conspiracy, and added that trade between the two countries incurred huge losses to Pakistan and while India made huge profits. (ANI)
