Olympic Football: Spain knocked out after loss to Honduras

London, July 30 (IANS) Spain crashed out of the London Olympics after they suffered a shock 0-1 defeat at the hands of Honduras.

The Spanish outfit have lost two games from as many played, failing to qualify for the next stage with one more group match remaining. Jerry Bengtson scored a seventh-minute header, the Honduran striker's third goal in two games, to seal the Spaniards' fate Sunday, Xinhua reports.
