Washington, July 25 (ANI): Pakistan's Ambassador to the United States Sherry Rehman has held "candid and constructive" talks with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, on U.S.-Pakistan relations, and Islamabad's role in improving regional security situation.
According to a Pakistan Embassy press release, Rehman briefed Reid on Pakistan's efforts to improve relations with the neighbouring countries of Afghanistan and India, reports The Nation.
The meeting was part of an ongoing effort to apprise the U.S. leadership on the Capitol Hill of Pakistan's position and concerns on the bilateral and regional developments. (ANI)
