Peshawar, July 10 (ANI): The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) will hold countrywide protest demonstrations on July 13 against the resumption of NATO supplies.
"JUI-F will strongly oppose resumption of NATO supplies at all forums. We think, it is contrary to the Parliament's recommendations," The Nation quoted Maulana Fazl Rehman, as saying.
Maulana Fazl added that the party has decided not to support the government on the proposed amendments in the contempt of court law as well as dual nationality issues.
According to the JUI-F, a person having dual nationality is constitutionally unqualified to become member of the Parliament. The proposed changes in the law, Maulana Fazl said, were not being brought on the basis of a principle, but just to save certain people. (ANI)
