Islamabad, June 19 (ANI): The chairman of Senate Standing Committee on Defence and Defence Production has said the NATO supply routes would be reopened this month, but only if America tenders an apology for the Salala attacks.
"Reopening NATO route is nearer (within June) but the U.S. apology is awaited and there is no way out other than this," the Daily Times quoted Mushahid Hussain Sayed, as saying.
A NATO strike on Pakistan's Salala border post killed 24 Pakistani soldiers last November, following which Islamabad immediately suspended the supply for coalition forces in Afghanistan. (ANI)
