JI to resist reopening of NATO supply routes even after U.S. apology

Islamabad, Mon, 18 Jun 2012 ANI

Islamabad, June 18 (ANI): Pakistan's Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) has said it would not allow the resumption of NATO supplies through the country even if the U.S. offers an apology over the Salala attack.

Provincial chief of JI, Prof Ibrahim, while addressing a rally, criticised the rulers for seeking money from the U.S. and other western countries, reports The Dawn.

Ibrahim said that the government wanted money from the U.S. in return for reopening NATO supply routes, and termed it a shameful act.

Ibrahim said the rulers, both at the centre and the provinces, are involved in corruption. (ANI)
