Bus carrying Russians attacked in Syria

Moscow, June 10 (IANS/RIA Novosti) A bus transporting Russian passengers came under fire in Syrian capital Saturday, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"Today a bus that was carrying Russian specialists was attacked in western Damascus," said Lavrov adding that it was not first such incident.

On Friday, a building in Damascus, housing Russian specialists, was fired at from a grenade launcher.

"One grenade hit the second floor wall, causing damage to the building. Fortunately, no one was injured," Lavrov said.
