Washington, June 7 (ANI): President Barack Obama has a 12-point lead over presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney in Pennsylvania, the latest poll in the state has found.
According to the Franklin and Marshall College Poll, the president currently leads Romney 48 percent to 36 percent with 12 percent undecided.
The poll results showed that nearly half of Pennsylvanians, about 47 percent, felt Obama is most prepared to fix the nation's economic problems, compared to 38 percent who felt Romney was better on the economy and understands the concerns of ordinary Americans.
"The president enjoys significant advantages over Romney in his personal popularity and most voters believe he is better prepared to handle the presidency even though they are ambivalent about some of his major policy initiatives," Politico quoted Franklin and Marshall writing in its analysis.
The poll surveyed 412 registered Pennsylvania voters between May 29 and June 4 and has a margin of error of +/- 4.8 percent. (ANI)
