Ukraine suffer 2-3 loss to Austria

Vienna, June 2 (IANS) Co-hosts Ukraine came back twice but still lost 2-3 to Austria in a friendly match leading to the Euro 2012 in Innsbruck, Austria.

Zlatko Junuzovic opened the mark only two minutes into the game to put Austria 1-0 up Friday.

Ukraine, which will co-host the European Championships with Poland June 8- July 1, failed to find the net in the first half before Oleg Gusev tied it in the 56th minute, reported Xinhua.

Forward Marko Arnautovic put Austria ahead again six minutes later. Gusev hit the target for a second time in the 65th minute.

Arnautovic seized the last chance as he scored inside the box with just one minute left in the game to give Austria the victory.
