Sydney, May 22 (ANI): Alleged triple murderer Max Sica once confessed to a friend that he killed the Indian-origin Sikh siblings at a home in the Australian city of Brisbane, a court has heard.
Giving evidence in the Brisbane Supreme Court, Andrea Bowman said she and Sica had often discussed what might have happened to Neelma Singh, 24, and her siblings Kunal, 18, and Sidhi, 12.
The three were found dead in the spa of the family home in the suburb of Bridgeman Downs on April 22, 2003.
Sica denied any involvement in the murder, but Bowman told the court he had confessed on one occasion in 2008 that he was responsible, The Herald Sun reports.
"He said, 'I have remorse for what I did (and) if I could take back what happened that night I would'," the report quoted Bowman, as saying.
She said Sica had also asked, 'did you know how hard it is to kill somebody when they say please don't, don't please?'
According to the report, it has been alleged that Sica, who has pleaded not guilty to the three counts of murder, carried out the killings and then tried to clean up by using bleach and later called police pretending to be upset. (ANI)
