Muscat, May 11 (ANI): The Air India pilots' strike has left over a 100 passengers stranded in various hotels at Muscat.
Air India officials in Oman said they were trying their best to provide relief to the passengers.
"We are trying our best to find a solution for the stranded passengers," Gulf News quoted Air India country manager in Oman, Mohit Sen, as saying.
He said since the pilots continued to abstain from duty, the problem of stranded passengers was getting complicated as "the options are either limited or not available".
He also said that seats on the other airlines were not available to accommodate these passengers.
Sen claimed that a senior official from the airline would meet the passengers and brief them about the alternate arrangements being made, while some of the passengers would be sent to Trivandrum via Mumbai on a night flight.
Air India had to accommodate over 100 passengers in two hotels in Muscat after they checked in for flights on Tuesday night. (ANI)
